About the location
THE AGORA THEATER & BALLROOM
In 1986, two decades after its birth near Case Western, Henry LoConti Sr. opened the current MidTown Agora location. The current location hosts a range of concerts and events across its multiple performance spaces.
The Agora name is steeped in history. Long considered a nationally prominent venue for developing acts to make it big, Agora became a national chain of clubs for a time, with Cleveland as its flagship location. In 1968 the original venue opened the nation's first in-house recording studio, producing many live albums. "Onstage at the Agora" became an internationally syndicated television show before MTV.
We invite local businesses and organizations to join us as sponsors, sharing our deep commitment to community engagement and wellness. By supporting our annual meeting, you'll not only help us cover essential costs but also empower MidTown's ongoing efforts to enhance our neighborhood. Together, we continue to move forward to foster a stronger, healthier community.
